In a short span of time, there is a new brand that has emerged in the travel industry as a brand which believes in promoting religious tourism in India. Our company has launched an Online Travel Portal by the name of www.myholytour.com. The website www.myholytour.com provides online facility to book flights, hotels, cars, buses and packages. The brand has been launched by us to give shape to our passion to serve the pilgrims in their faith based cruise and make travel easy. It is the blend of all the religions like Christianity, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Islam. It is also the blend of Online and Offline booking platform where the pilgrims have the convenience to customize their package. www.myholytour.com provides religious packages for PAN India and in every state. This is with the motive to promote the religious places and religious tourism in all the states. We carried this ambition of launching an online travel portal with online and offline booking platform and provision to customize the tour package. The unique thing about the website, which we believed was the core of the product, was the content and information of various religious places. It is a blend of content/information about the unexplored religious places in India and facility to book the travel related services to those places. Inspite of the time that we invested developing the content, we didn’t get hassled with the delay happening in launching the product. We spent 20 months to give shape to the product by networking with unknown people who were well established in the industry and convinced them about the faith in sailing this product through. We managed to meet all major players in person and presented the product. The partners were helpful and kind enough to understand the seriousness that we showed towards launching this product and agreed to join hands. Inspite of the fact that people in the industry didn’t take us seriously initially, we were the one who convinced them to join hands with us in this pious project. Religious tourism is being promoted by the government and FICCI which gave us the courage to reach out to the state tourism boards in person. Although there were hundreds of challenges which we faced but we managed to handle them all.
