Founded in March 2014, GetSetHome aims to revolutionize the way individuals seek housing rentals for their long term accommodation needs. The Bachelor Journey: We realise that bachelors (students or working professionals) that have moved into a new city go through a lot of hassles to find good quality homes. Often rejected tenancy because in today's society being a Bachelor is considered the biggest Taboo and societies are self-proclaimed guardians of culture. This is just the trailer, the entire movie is lot more painful where this community has to deal with unprofessional brokers, high upfront payments, sub-standard PG accommodations, the roommate hunt only if the house hunt wasn’t enough. Unlike in the movies these don’t really have Happy Endings. We don’t want an individual’s excitement of a new job, the promotion in an MNC, the dream of becoming the next super model or the thrill of holding an admission ticket to a dream MBA institute turn sour on facing the harsh truth of being rejected a good quality home. The Owner Journey: The journey for Property Owners is equally painful. Right from dealing with brokers, putting up advertisements in newspaper or websites, waiting to get an ideal like minded customer to whom they would want to give their property to, setting up time for property visits to these customers who are interested, negotiations, closures, paper work, legal procedures, brokerages and after that comes the phase of timely rent collection, looking and ensuring the house is maintained, attending to petty issues & calls by tenants, termination when needed, refurbishing the apartment once again and going through this cycle all over again. This process is usually repeated year after year and soaks the owner of their time, energy and peace of mind. GetSetHome Offerings: As our name suggests we at GetSetHome provide completely furnished homes - a set home taking away the mental stress from both the Owners & the Bachelors. We lease the property from the owner, completely furnish it & add all necessity amenities like Microwave, Fridge, Washing Machine, TV, etc. We then offer these houses to individuals on a sharing basis. We also offer services & house bills like house cleaning/maid, Wifi, DTH, Water & Gas Bills to the tenants. Our staff on their weekly inspection visit ensures maintenance of the house. The monthly rents reach the owner well on time without any follow ups (which may be the case in a direct rental deal with individuals). We also provide choices on room sharing plans such as single occupancy to triple occupancy for a room with like-minded individuals. We have flexible stay terms by the month or year to suit any budget or lifestyle. In short these are all inclusive, no-stress packages for bachelors where they can simply walk in with their luggage and be assured of all daily house necessities which are all taken care of.
