
IndianStartupFactory a New-Delhi based financial services company has received the final acknowledgement from the market regulator SEBI to launch $27.8 Mn (Rs 200 Crore as per Indian currency) maiden India venture capital fund. Founded in 2016 IndianStartupFactory was majorly a support system to startups mentoring and finances. The newly launched maiden India, ISF Special Opportunity Fund is looking forward to invest in startups at early and growth stage, as well as in small, micro and medium enterprises (SMEs). This news was confirmed by Kapil Kaul, the founder of the ISF Special Opportunity.
The investments made by us in the market are not here as betting game market, but rather for making significant and real companies, having clear prospects of a healthy bottom line," ISF Special Opportunity Fund Founder Kapil Kaul said.

The method of due diligence is the most important element which provides an edge to our fund, which will be inclined towards methods used by PE firms. Venture capital fundamental will be the basis of our investment,” he further added. In startups where the operational profitability is already clear will be the major investment leads of ISF or the the startup is looking forward to operational profitability within 12-18 months of investment.
This unique method is scientific and is not easily attainable, but it does give our fund the augmented opportunities to make each investment worth the effort". Also, it is a sector agnostic fund. “We will definitely not be interested in real estate as of now, but we might take into consideration government approved infra projects,” added Kapil.
