Today we are going to talk about what could be the perfect startup team for your startup. There is no universal plan to get a perfect start up team for action. Neither the slogan ‘Army of One’ works for start ups. A team is not one person. You need to build a start up team to demonstrate the diversity of roles needed to make the company successful. However, there is no such thing as perfect startup team. No one is perfect. There are no ‘right’ answers to it, just opinions. Let’s look into those opinions:

The Leader 

A start up team needs a leader, not a boss. Bosses tells people what to do, while leaders inspire people to do their best. The one who is willing to walk through walls to make the business succeed. He follows a regimented pattern for himself and his team members to collectively reach a potential.

The Genius 

Every start up needs at least one genius to get off the ground. Often a diva, the person constantly challenges the rest of the team. He is passionate and wouldn’t scare to take risks.

The Referee 

A referee is the person who makes sure all the tasks are accomplished. From ordering office supplies to keeping the office network running.

An Industry Veteran 

Start ups are often formed around new ideas, but it is a plus point to have an experienced person on board. One who knows the inner dementias and tactics. One who knows how to get things done and recognize people as assets. He has seen it, he knows how everybody else does it.

The Sales Hero 

Start ups with terrific ideas often forget that they need to sell it. The one who can sell your product or service to the costumers will eventually get you investments. Having a strong salesperson on the founding team helps minimizing the risk.

The Finance Honcho 

When your start up is new, it’s really important to manage all finance, meet customer demands, pay your employee well and not disappoint your VC. Having a person who has talent with numbers can make it much more easy for you. The one who can look into the finance department and give you an extra peace of mind. It is always important to have a balanced team with right skills and right type of attitude. Not more or not less. To sum it up,
